The Human Resources Group serves as a strategic business partner to the Bank leaders, managers and employees, helping them to optimize the relationship between the organization and its people. In doing so, Human Resources looks to deliver innovative and integrated HR programs; attract the most skilled, capable and diverse talent to the Bank; foster an inclusive environment within the Bank that embraces diversity of people, thought and perspective; and demonstrates leadership and vision within the bank.

The Talent Acquisition Department is responsible for managing the Bank’s recruitment activities which includes
Experienced and Campus Recruitment. Talent Acquisition oversees marketing the Bank’s unique opportunities through various sourcing and networking avenues, managing the policies, processes and systems to support the Bank’s recruitment initiatives, fostering relationships outside and within the organization, and generating meaningful HR metrics.

The Diversity Talent Lead will work closely with the Campus and Experienced Recruitment teams to build a competitive advantage through unique and innovative recruitment and relationship strategies. The recruitment strategy will enhance the Bank’s employer brand by identifying, driving and coordinating various recruitment efforts to attract diverse talent to the organization, in line with the Bank’s diversity initiatives.

The Diversity Talent Lead will leverage both traditional and non-traditional recruitment sources, including digital and social media channels. In addition, the individual will work to develop and execute recruitment strategies aimed at generating diverse candidate flow to meet overall recruiting needs as well as a pipeline for future needs. The incumbent will also be responsible with developing and maintaining relationships with third party Diversity Partner Organizations (DPOs); the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI); Bank Employee Resource Networks; and, key stakeholders across the Bank.


? Attract diverse talent by positioning the Bank as an employer of choice, reinforcing the values and culture of the Bank
? Manage Campus Recruitment’s relationships with key DPOs including development of new partnership opportunities. Monitor the effectiveness of the relationships making recommendations about future engagement models
? Work with the ODI to identify new opportunities to leverage the networks of Bank employees; develop methods to measure and monitor their success
? Liaise with the HR and the Bank’s Communications Teams to develop innovative marketing strategies and tools that are designed to attract diverse talent
? Oversee the Bank’s early identification/pipeline and other development programs focused on diverse talent, track measures of effectiveness and develop strategies to expand best practices across the Bank
? Develop outreach strategies to identify and develop a pipeline of diverse talent. This includes coordination of and
participation in external events, conferences and hosting in-house events
? Partner with Experienced Recruiters for specific sourcing assignments, meet with Hiring Managers to understand the role, work climate, contributions and challenges of the job to determine what constitutes a highly qualified candidate; and reach agreement on the skills candidates will be screened against
? Support the Bank's recruitment efforts by focusing on passive candidates to produce a diverse slate of pre-qualified candidates including sourcing, screening/interviewing and referring qualified candidates to recruiters
? Source candidates leveraging a variety of tools including online networking, databases, and social media
? Serve as a resource to Recruiters, Hiring Managers and Senior Leadership in understanding the external recruiting environment, candidate pool and perceptions

? Stay up-to-date on innovative developments in workforce and workplace diversity and recruitment tools, best
practices, and how the talent acquisition team can best utilize these recruiting/networking resources
? Working with HR analytics to produce metrics and reports to determine productivity and communicate results of
various sources, key initiatives and strategies

Job Requirements:

? A minimum of five years developing and driving diversity strategies/initiatives, with a focus on talent acquisition; financial industry experience a plus
? Strong relationship management skills, including ability to drive healthy discussions around complex issues,
persuade others to move in a desired direction and strong active listening skills
? Strong partnership skills including demonstrated experience liaising with key diversity organizations
? Demonstrated passion and ability to successfully identify, qualify, and engage diverse candidates at all skill
? Proven ability to source and recruit candidates from non-traditional sources, as well as strong e-recruitment
searching skills
? Strong attention to detail and organization skills, including the ability to synthesize information, make data based
decisions and implement effectiveness measures
? Successfully demonstrated project management skills (including event planning) with ability to meet strict
deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
? Strong team orientation and a desire to work with others in an inclusive manner serving as a positive and
motivating force to teammates and stakeholders
? Demonstrated technical skills including Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and relevant business
automation software including Taleo
? Strong experience engaging and influencing senior executives
