Job Title: Network Security Engineer
Location:  Bethlehem, PA
Duration:  One year
 

The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and integration of the corporate security devices comprising proxies, firewalls, NAC, IPS/IDS, WAF, Wi-Fi and cloud security.  In addition, this individual will possess strong security concepts being able to apply them across multiple disciplines and vendor solutions.  This individual will also be responsible for implementation and administration of network security hardware and software, enforcing the network security policy  and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations. 

 
Other responsibilities will include:
  • Performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to design, integration and installation of hardware and software
  • Experience converting firewalls from one vendor to another
  • Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely and on-site
  • Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
  • Advise business partners on security best practices, architecture, and engineering
  • Strong knowledge of proxy's concepts, Cisco technologies, and IPS/IDS best practices
  • Knowledge of Checkpoint a plus
  • Industry certifications a plus
This position is in the Information Security Operations department.
