Job Description:

Join Common Services - Solution Service Information team to determine the goals and requirements for multiple efforts and design a solution, implement it and prove its effectiveness by working directly with the business.

Tasks may include, but not be limited to:

• Implementation/Solution Delivery: Introduce, design, and implement new technologies to streamline business processes; identify COTS solutions to address business requirements. Work on automation of COTS deployments. Design and Implement infrastructure for both on-premises, hosted / cloud solutions based on design requirements.

• Consulting: Take on advisory role for business areas as well as within Technology Group by providing analytical support, assisting with RFPs, leading negotiations with national providers, as well as technical assistance in confidential projects on behalf of Legal and ISNY

• Technical documentation – authoring of technical manuals, procedure and design documents. Also multiple presentations for various target audiences.

• Design: Design high level and detailed solutions. Demonstrate the ability to communicate with various audiences both written and verbal explaining design decisions and next steps

• Technical Lead: Provide leadership throughout project lifecycle. Including Implementing and overseeing a Proof of Technology and/or Proof of Concept. Also, Detailed design based on POT/POC results and ultimately lead implementation initiatives for multiple environments (examples: Dev, QA, Production) including detailed documentation at all levels of the project in order to transition to support teams.

Job Requirements:

 • Experience with Windows server operating systems

• Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems

• Experience leading projects in a large, highly complex environment

• Experience with design/implementation of cloud based applications

• Excellent communications and technical writing skills

• Ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences

• Skill in design of technical solutions that address business objectives

• Familiarity with application middleware components (database, web application servers, etc.)

• Familiarity with enterprise networking components (switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)

• Ability to pass Level 2 (Restricted) clearance if required

• Designing and implementing systems in enterprise – Ability to understand, design and implement the needs of the enterprise. For example, high availability and failover, including site failover are vital to this project

• Security – Understanding security systems and mechanisms as well as incorporating then with a balance of user needs

• Proven leader and self-starter with the ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects, tasks and deliverables throughout project lifecycle

• Familiarity with application middleware components (database, web application servers, etc.)

• Familiarity with enterprise networking components (switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)

• Experience with Unix operating systems (Linux, Solaris, AIX, others)

• Experience with VDI, VMWare etc…

• Ability to develop detailed project plans, milestones and schedules

• Experience with design/implementation of cloud infrastructure

• Experience with AWS cloud services

• Experience with Fintech

• Puppet Development experience in relation to application installation and configuration

• Puppet Automation – Develop automation code to deploy and maintain systems and applications using application orchestration software

• Experience with Docker
