Job Description:


-           Lead a small team of developers, setting short & long term goals and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives

-           Works with broader IT group and Director of IT to set strategy and approach for application development

-           C#/.NET, including many full stack solutions

-           Significant software architecture and design responsibilities

-           Significant experience in financial services, especially private equity

-           Significant project management, business analysis, and customer facing responsibilities

-           Excellent communication skills

-           Management of external resources & vendor/product searches


Job Requirements:

  • A high-energy individual who’s proactive and a self-starter, must be capable of identifying needs, proposing solutions and executing successfully.
  • Technically inquisitive, forward-thinking and imaginative.
  • Excellent communicator, with “presence”, a genuine presenter and capable of projecting competence at/to all levels of the organization.
  • Deep, deep, deep understanding of IT, its architectures and their applications
  • A team builder, capable of identifying talent, able to hire and build a team.
  • Broad and senior experience across all elements of IT Services, with senior leadership responsibilities and experience in a global organization
  • Possessor of an extensive IT/Business peer network
  • Excellent process discipline and project management skills
  • Experience with vendor management and direction of multi-vendor project teams.
  • Highly customer service oriented, responsive and effective
  • Capable of writing clearly and concisely
  • Background in Business Analysis or Product Management would be very helpful


If that person can also handle the developers that’s great, if not then that’s fine too. The priority is to find someone who meets that description, and they’ll need to be very good.
