Job Description:

Currently searching for a Systems Engineer to work with the IT team.  The individual is technically minded, savvy in the legal IT vertical, and has the ability to quickly understand and converse with fluency to provide solutions for both immediate and long-term business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement Cisco IP Telephony applications including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection Messaging, Cisco UCCX, Cisco Emergency Responder, Call Manager Express, and Unity Express.
Provision SIP trunks, design dial plans.
Integrate Cisco UC applications into Active Directory environments.
Implement Cisco Unity Connection in configurations supporting Voice Messaging, Unified
Messaging with Exchange.
Configure voice services on all Cisco LAN/WAN hardware including: ISR Routers, and Catalyst switches.
Prepare documentation for internal and external customers detailing configuration of deployed solutions.
Resolve operational issues involving Cisco UC applications
Demonstrate proficiency with the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of core LAN/WAN and UC services.
Demonstrate proficiency with Telco voice services such as PRI, BRI, E1, POTS, and SIP Trunking.
Demonstrate proficiency with the design, provisioning and troubleshooting of WAN technologies such as MPLS, T1 and DS3 circuits, HDLC, PPP and ISDN PRI/BRI.
Other duties as assigned by the IT Manager of Infrastructure.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Requirements:
3-5 years of experience with Cisco IP Telephony infrastructure, including design, implementation and ongoing management/troubleshooting.
CallManager/Unified Communications Manager 7.x through 10.x.
CallManager Express, Cisco Unity Express, SRST.
Strong knowledge of Cisco Voice Gateways, SIP/H.323/MGCP & ISDN PRI troubleshooting
Understanding of network operations at Layer 2 and Layer 3
Understanding of major routing protocols.
Cisco Unified Presence & Mobility Manager, Cisco Unified Attendant Console, Cisco Expressway, VMware ESX.
Flexible work schedule to troubleshoot escalated issues off hours.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Certifications (one or more):
Cisco Voice specialization roles are desirable.
Cisco Unified Contact Center Express.

Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS, or Computer Science.
Experience with Interactive Intelligence CIC IP/PBX suite.
Experience with SIP Peering.
Knowledge of other gateways and VOIP protocols a plus.
 Legal Industry knowledge and experience preferred.
