Seeking heavy duty Management Consulting experience....not Agency experience.   Target firms like Accenture Digital, Deloitte Digital, McKinsey, IBM Digital.  Seeking executive level Professional Services experience along with solid technical credential.

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for developing the company’s technology strategy and operations. The CTO will build and lead a top talent team of technology architects, data scientists and software engineers. Must have experience and ability to work in a fast paced consulting environment. Must work well in a diverse collaborative environment. This role reports to the CEO.

What will we expect from you?

Build cutting-edge technology capabilities for digital transformation

  • Identify technologies that will create differentiation to our clients and partners with a time horizon of the next 6 to 12 months.
  • Be a champion to raise awareness for such technologies and its potential use.
  • Establish the company’s technology vision, partner strategy and solution development focus areas.

Evangelize technology capabilities for digital transformation

  • Own relationships with industry analysts and market influencers
  • Experience in speaking at industry conferences and trade shows to provide expert perspective
  • Share POV through white papers and blogs on how brands can leverage technology to solve digital transformation challenges

Drive business development and company growth

  • Be a trusted advisor to C-suite client stakeholders.
  • Actively grow business through outbound effort and partner relationships.
  • Establish credibility with client audience during in-person presentations of our proposals.

Be responsible for client and company success

  • Lead important client sessions on critical engagements to establish credibility as a expert in enterprise technology platforms (content, commerce, collaboration).
  • Work collaboratively with executive team on business strategy, organizational growth and operational excellence.
  • Hire, develop and coach technology team and drive high performance

 Guide engineering teams in creating quality solutions

  • Established quality standards on engagements to ensure that our solutions exceed industry norms in terms of scalability, performance and reliability.
  • Get hands-on and take charge when the engineering teams need support on a tough problem.
  • Coach engineering teams on structured problem solving.

 Bring an entrepreneurial mindset

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of technology experience, architecting, developing, and supporting content and commerce platforms for large organizations.
  • Must be excellent leader and communicator, passionate about building a world-class tech organizations and be able to use technology as a key leverage point for the business.
  • Significant experience leading and managing technology teams; professional services experience preferred.
  • Strong reputation and trusted relationships with key executives at large enterprise companies.
  • Experience with and knowledgeable in organizational development philosophies and approaches related to building high functioning teams and organizations.
  • Proven experience delivering business-impacts through enterprise technologies and platforms integrating large scale and complex consumer solutions.
  • Proven experience delivering business-impacts through emerging technologies such as AR/VR, sensors/beacons, AI, robotics, etc. 
  • Prior work experience with well known US-based digital agencies or consultancies
  • Ability to effectively manage client accounts and project teams.
  • Delivered successful and high profile customer facing (B2C) digital solutions, mobile technologies including native and HTML5 apps, CMS and commerce platforms, and cloud technologies (Heroku/AWS).
  • Ability to estimate and plan project work and product development efforts, including the assessment of risks and dependencies.
  • Has worked with globally distributed team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-directed and inspiring leader with a demonstrated ability to achieve objectives.
  • Experience selecting, evaluating and managing vendor relationships with capabilities partners.
  • BS or MS in computer science or related field preferred.
